Yin and Yang are two opposing but complementing principles or cosmic energies that may be observed in nature. In essence, the meaning of Yin and Yang is that the world is controlled by a cosmic duality, a pair of opposing and complementary principles or cosmic energies that may be observed in nature.

In reality, everything is made up of two opposing forces: Yin and Yang. Most things are a little bit of both concepts. An eggshell is Yang, while the egg within it is Yin. When wheat is in the field, it is Yang, but it becomes Yin once harvested. One can turn into the other, and the finest experiences in life are found at the junction of the two.
